You feel like you’re going in circles. Everywhere you look the view is the same. Was it only yesterday that you were safely tucked away in the building?
You slow down slightly, to better see everything around you. As you walk silently through the forest, you take in your surroundings. You shake the mud off your paws as you trot around. You can still see buildings, although they have shrunk and changed. They are recognizable as human-made structures.
They are devoured by vines and greenery. Like the statue you saw before, they are almost fully enveloped. You can’t get the mud off your paws, you give up and stand still to catch your breath. You stare at the vines that snake up the building. They seem to be pulling the building down into the ground, but it doesn’t shrink. In fact, it seems to get taller.
You bark fearfully and get ready to run, only to find you cannot move.
