Fox, awake, holding leaf in mouth

A New Day

It is still dark when you wake up and the leaves have piled thickly around your muzzle. There are more now, perhaps due to the wind. The ground around you is damp when you step out. The burrow and the leaves have protected you from the rain.

You hunt again, delighted by the sheer amount of prey that surrounds you in the new area. You can see just as well in the moonlight as you can under the sun, and decide to explore your surroundings.
